VARIATIONS

Not all boat designs will lend themselves to the Original Sea-View’s shape or size. We have several customized modifications available. Windshields can deploy out of upper decks or storage compartments. 

If there is not quite 30" between the passenger's seat and the front deck there are a few common modifications:

 1. If the measurement is close, you may wish to have your seat moved back an inch or two on a sliding track.

2. If the measurement is close, you can order a custom size Marine Shield. We can cut the shield down up to 3" total. We recommend at least 1" open distance between the seat and the console to allow the passenger to deploy the shield.

3. A third and very popular variation, is to install the Seaview Marine Shield on the front casting deck, directly in front of the passenger's seat. With the current trend of larger casting decks, this has become a popular variation.  We supply all hardware and instructions. Installation is easy! The windshield sets just an 1" off the floor (it's hardly noticeable) and, when retracted, can be stood on to cast off of.

Here is #4 option...Very similar to option #3, however, the Seaview is cut directly into the front casting deck, (in front of the passenger's seat.)Thus, it is flush with the floor.
This is the retracted position. You can't even notice it!
This particular customization requires setting up an appointment at our Northwoods, Wisconsin shop. Our service department will gladly install this variation. All other variations are easily performed by the boat owner.


Here is #4 option in the deployed position. A great addition to keep your passenger warm and dry!
And, it takes mere seconds to retract back into the floor to allow ample open area to fish from.
